Kelly Brennan, Ed.D. is an energetic, compassionate, and strategic professional working, teaching, and speaking on philanthropy and leadership topics for 20+ years. Her expertise is rooted in relationship management and understanding the donor point of view. She brings a broad perspective having worked at organizations of all kinds.
Kelly has built a culture of philanthropy, engaging all stakeholder for several diverse organizations. She has privately coached Executives and their Boards to increase their fundraising confidence. Illustrating the transformational nature of relationship management rather than a dreaded transactional activity.
She has taught philanthropy at the undergraduate and graduate level as well as to children. Kelly’s doctoral research focused on the administration of philanthropy in organizations. She has mentored, coached, and served on several boards and understands the role of active volunteer.
She is currently writing a children’s book focused on introducing the concept of philanthropy. She can often be found, during her free time, reading, at a farmer’s market, or in search of the latest culinary vegetable craze. She happily resides in New York, except when she’s stuck in traffic.
